Celebrating Samantha's 30-Year Journey with Joy and Laughter

Thirty years ago, a bright-eyed 19-year-old named Samantha stepped into our vibrant resort, eager to take on the world with a heart full of excitement. Today, we come together to honor her incredible journey and unwavering dedication. Let's embark on a fun and heartfelt stroll down memory lane, celebrating every moment of her remarkable career!

The Early Days: A Nervous Start Picture it: young Samantha, a little nervous but determined, starting her career as a housekeeper in this beautiful and sprawling resort. The responsibilities felt overwhelming, but she faced each challenge head-on. Little did she know, this was just the beginning of a long and rewarding adventure!

Learning from the Best: In her early days, Sam was lucky to meet some amazing mentors who took her under their wing. They taught her the ins and outs of housekeeping, sharing their wisdom and tricks of the trade. Though many of these mentors have moved on, their legacy lives on in Samantha's work and dedication.

Climbing the Ladder: Samantha's hard work and determination didn't go unnoticed. She was promoted to supervisor and, despite her private nature, balanced her career with getting married and having a daughter. Her leadership skills continued to shine, leading her to roles as manager, area manager, and eventually Executive Housekeeper.

Overseeing Growth and Expansion: Throughout her tenure, Samantha has seen the resort grow and expand, managing areas like the Bayside at Sandestin, the houses, and the bustling Beach area. Her keen eye for detail and strong leadership have kept everything running smoothly, even during the busiest seasons.

Witnessing Transformation: Samantha has witnessed the resort's transformation with the building of the Grand Complex, Westwinds, Luau I and II, Hotel Effie, and Osprey Pointe. Each new development brought challenges, but with Sam on the team, we always knew we were in capable hands.

A Joyous Toast: As we celebrate Samantha’s 30 years of service, we do so with immense joy and gratitude. Her journey from a nervous housekeeper to a seasoned Executive Housekeeper is truly inspirational. She has not only grown professionally but has also touched the hearts of everyone she has worked with.
