Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Names Ron Hardin Director of Information Technology
Miramar Beach, Fla (February 4, 2019) – Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort today announced that Ron Hardin, CHTP has joined its team as Director of Information Technology. In his new role, Hardin will be responsible for overseeing and improving all aspects of the resort’s current and future technology needs.
“Ron brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality IT,” stated Pete Reed, Vice President of Finance, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. “His expertise in technology deployment, management, security, and support specifically in the hospitality industry will lend itself to leading and improving all facets of Sandestin’s current and future technology needs.”
Hardin joins Sandestin with extensive knowledge of the information technology sector specific to hospitality companies. Prior to Sandestin, he served as Vice President of Technology for Davidson Hotels & Resorts overseeing all aspects of property and corporate technology and as Senior Systems Analyst for Planet Hollywood International developing custom systems integration and reporting applications. Additionally, Hardin has served as a Professional Services Consultant for MICROS Systems, Inc., Product Manager of computer-based systems for ServiSystems America and Hotel Systems Manager for ITT-Sheraton. He is an active member of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals having served on the International Board of Directors. A Certified Hospitality Technology Professional, Hardin received a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from Cornell University.
